2022 NFL Playoff IDP Rankings
If you've never tried IDP or an NFL playoff fantasy league, now is the time! To help you get started, here's our preferred scoring, league setup, and IDP rankings.
With the NFL regular season concluded and 18 franchises taking a dirt nap until September, it’s finally the most wonderful time of the year: the NFL playoffs. But just because the regular season is over doesn't mean fantasy has to be finished.
In fact, with the right setup, you can have more fun than you’ve had all year with fantasy football. Especially now that the NFL has expanded the slate to 14 teams and 3 days of games during Super Wild Card Weekend: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If you’ve never jumped into playoff fantasy before, this is the year to try it!
And you know us… if we’re going to do fantasy, it’s gotta be IDP. The playoffs are a great time to try out IDP for the first time if you’ve never done a regular season league before: the season is shorter, the player pool is smaller, and the stakes are usually lower than in your regular leagues. We’ve got a few resources to help you out:
IDP scoring settings: We prefer Big 3 Scoring.
League setup: We do 4 teams and use Google Sheets for drafting and scoring. Here’s a free template if you want to copy our roster setup. You can tweak the number of players at each position (i.e. QB) if you add more teams. As far as we know, the only platform that supports playoff fantasy leagues is MFL.
IDP playoff rankings: There are plenty of sites that do offensive rankings for playoff fantasy leagues. We’re one of the only ones that provide rankings for IDP. Below, you’ll see a sample of Adam’s Top 70 players, as well as his best IDP options for the Saturday games: LV vs. CIN and NE vs. BUF.
