Many of you have participated in one or more of our IDP best ball tournaments this offseason — and we thank you! Not only are those drafts fun but they also help shape our industry-leading ADP. As the calendar turns to August, though, it’s time to kick things up a notch by bringing back our massive annual best ball tournament:
IDP MADNESS!
Like last year, IDP Madness will span 12 leagues and 144 participants. It’s a single-entry tournament with a $5 buy-in and a $20 payout for each league winner. The team with the most total points at the end of Week 18 will be declared the overall champion and take home $500 (your $20 league winner payout + the champion’s prize pool of $480), a prize pack from The IDP Show, and unreal (Addie voice) amounts of clout.
New this year: we’re putting up $200 of our money to pay out 2nd place ($125) and 3rd place ($75) overall, too. Also, all entry fees will be paid out to winners. No rake here!
This is a 24-round slow draft (4-hour timer, paused overnight) using Big 3 Scoring and with a lineup of 4 DL, 4 LB, 4 DB, 2 FLEX, and 10 bench. This is Underdog-style best ball, which means draft and done. No waiver claims or trades. Your draft will start once it’s filled and everyone has paid using the LeagueSafe link. Make sure you set and maintain a queue, as no picks will be redone once the draft begins.
This year, to help with security (i.e. making sure no one enters more than once), we’re using a sign-up form rather than having open registration. Here’s how it’ll work:

Once you’ve paid, you’ll be added to a league
When the league is filled, the draft will start
Since LeagueSafe is only available to people in the U.S. and Canada, we’ve got another system in place for international folks. You’ll see details about that on the form.
