Hello, Ghouls and Boos! Halloween always has marked the mid-point of the season, and hopefully, your team isn’t full of frights. If it is a little scary, you have come to the right place to remove those players off your roster who have been pretending to be solid plays, but really only hiding behind the mask of a good name and/or past seasons… yeah, we’re talking to you, Devin Bush and Jerome Baker!

Let’s get to this week’s waiver wire targets!

Defensive Line

Previous Weeks: Gregory Rousseau, Alex Highsmith, Dominique Robinson, Rasheem Green, Dre’mont Jones, Justin Jones, Deatrich Wise Jr, BJ Hill, Shy Tuttle, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Zach Allen, Jihad Ward, Dexter Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong, Derek Brown, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Jarran Reed, Grover Street, Denico Autry, Darrell Taylor, Samuel Williams

Javon Hargrave, Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are loading up a defensive line with some real star power. Adding Robert Quinn last week from the Bears only makes everyone’s job a little easier. Javon Hargrave is one of many who may benefit from this loaded defensive unit.

Hargrave broke out this past weekend against the Steelers, racking up 8 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. Hargrave has been playing a high number of snaps most of the season but has had very little to show for it. Maybe this is the start of a little run for Hargrave like he had last season at about this same time.

Boye Mafe, Seattle Seahawks

Boye Mafe has been super consistent this season with his snaps and his production. Mafe—a rookie from Minnesota who was selected in the second round—has all the physical tools and draft capital to get a load of snaps. Although Mafe is playing less than 50% of snaps at the moment, with an injured Darrell Taylor, Mafe and fellow edge rusher Bruce Irvin may be called upon to play more snaps. Mafe recorded his 2nd sack of the season this past week and has the Arizona Cardinals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coming up, teams that both are struggling on the offensive line.
