We are on the final leg of our regular season marathon and what a season it has been. With one week left in the season, many playoff spots are still up for grabs and that all-important playoff seeding still needs to be determined. Let’s look at this week’s waiver targets that just might help you solidify that playoff spot in your league.

Defensive Line

Previous Weeks: Gregory Rousseau, Alex Highsmith, Dominique Robinson, Rasheem Green, Dre’mont Jones, Justin Jones, Deatrich Wise Jr, BJ Hill, Shy Tuttle, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Zach Allen, Jihad Ward, Dexter Lawrence, Dorance Armstrong, Derek Brown, Sebastian Joseph-Day, Jarran Reed, Grover Street, Denico Autry, Darrell Taylor, Samuel Williams, Javon Hargrave, Boye Mafe, Jay Tufele, Jerry Hughes, A’Shawn Robinson, Vita Vea, Julian Okwara, Calais Campbell, Myjai Sanders, John Cominsky, Carl Granderson, Zach Sieler, Ed Oliver, Josh Sweat, Chase Young

Michael Hoecht, Los Angeles Rams

Michael Hoecht has been playing an absurd number of snaps over the last few games with the Rams defensive line decimated with injuries. Hoecht has played more than 80% of the snaps over the last two games and has 9 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. With so many Rams on IR, I expect Hoecht to continue playing a high level of snaps, which is great for managers willing to ride the hot hand on the D-line.

DeShawn Williams, Denver Broncos

DeShawn Williams has played consistent football over the past few weeks. Williams has logged nearly 40% of snaps over the last 8 games and has 4 straight games of 3+ tackles. This high floor is a great thing for managers to consider this week with 6 teams on a bye. The Broncos and Williams get to play Kansas City, so there should be plenty of defensive snaps for Williams to continue his solid level of play.
