Johny The Greek's Cornerback Corner: Week 17
What are the best CB options for IDP fantasy football leagues in Week 17?
Welcome back to the Cornerback Corner! As is tradition, we’ll start with transparency and then get right into this week’s calls.
Last week, I made 88 calls for leagues of all shapes and sizes. Of those 88 calls, 13 were declared inactive or were injured during play, which caused them to miss their projection (early in the game). Subtracting those players, we’re left with 75 “adjusted” calls.
Of those, 54 were correct (matched, beat, or were within a slim margin of their projection on Yahoo and MFL), and 21 were incorrect (didn’t match or beat projection and weren’t even close), giving us 72% accuracy for Week 16.
Of those 54 correct calls, 22 were “massive hits” (doubled, tripled, or more, their projection), giving us a 40% massive hit rate on correct calls for Week 16.
We are 72% accurate overall for the season, with 38% of all correct calls ending up as “massive hits.”
Week 1: 72% accuracy, 41% massive hit rate
Week 2: 73% accuracy, 46% massive hit rate
Week 3: 65% accuracy, 45% massive hit rate
Week 4: 73% accuracy, 36% massive hit rate
Week 5: 75% accuracy, 32% massive hit rate
Week 6: 67% accuracy, 34% massive hit rate
Week 7: 75% accuracy, 38% massive hit rate
Week 8: 75% accuracy, 30% massive hit rate
Week 9: 76% accuracy, 32% massive hit rate
Week 10: 72% accuracy, 36% massive hit rate
Week 11: 75% accuracy, 43% massive hit rate
Week 12: 66% accuracy, 43% massive hit rate
Week 13: 74% accuracy, 35% massive hit rate
Week 14: 76% accuracy, 40% massive hit rate
Week 15: 73% accuracy, 44% massive hit rate
Week 16: 72% accuracy, 40% massive hit rate

Alignment & utilization metrics are sourced from PFF.com, an outstanding resource for all things fantasy football-related.
To this point in the season, these teams use 11 personnel (3 WR sets) the least week-to-week (go from the bottom up on this list). Your opposing slot corners (Taron, Phillips, Alford, etc) will likely see a significant reduction in playing time against these teams. Thank you to sumersports.com for the information.
NEW for playoffs! See the bottom of the article for my favorite playoff matchups so you can grab the relevant corners off waivers early!
It’s another dumpster fire schedule for fantasy playoffs title games this year, with games on Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. SET ALARMS. Set reminders. Make sure you don’t miss inactives or make a mistake and hand victory to your opponent by starting an inactive player. We control so very little with this game we all play, so let’s make sure we take control of those few things we can actually have some impact on. Make your opponent beat you, don’t do it for them. Good luck, my friends, go get those titles!
Cowboys at Commanders
Outlook: The early total for this NFC East battle sits at a massive 52.5 points with Dallas favored by a field goal on the road. Dallas averages the most yards per game for passing offense across the league, while Washington is in the middle of the pack for this ranking. Dallas also averages the most wide receiver targets week to week, while Washington is in the middle of the pack once more.
We have a picture-perfect setup (IDEAL) for our Washington corners, but it will be “medium to deeper leagues” for our Dallas options in Week 17.
Dallas Cowboys
Shavon Revel (CB): SOLID. He played 85% of snaps last week as an outside corner.
Trevon Diggs (CB): SOLID. He played 84% of snaps as an outside corner last week in his first game back from IR.
Reddy Steward/DaRon Bland/All others (CB): SIT. Steward was under 60% of snaps and could be rug-pulled at any moment. Bland is now on IR, and no other corner cleared 26% of snaps played.
Washington Commanders
Quan Martin (S/CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 84% of snaps as a mostly deep safety last week. He is incorrectly designated as a corner in Yahoo.
Will Harris (S/CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as a mostly box/slot safety last week. He is incorrectly designated as a corner in Yahoo.
Mike Sainristil (CB): SOLID, could be IDEAL. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Jonathan Jones (CB): SOLID. He played 78% of snaps as an outside corner last week. He could be IDEAL; he seems to be getting picked on a bit in coverage.
Noah Igbinoghene (CB): SOLID, much deeper leagues only. He played 57% of snaps from the slot last week and has had capped playing time in recent weeks.
Lions at Vikings
Outlook: The early total for this NFC North showdown sits at 48.5 points with Detroit favored by a field goal on the road. Detroit is the third-best team in the league for passing yards per game, while Minnesota is in the bottom third of the league for this ranking. Detroit is just outside the top ten for wide receiver targets, while Minnesota is in the middle of the pack.
We can fire up our Minnesota corners in medium to deeper leagues, but it could be a better setup than that if the stars align for us. And as for our Detroit corners, deeper leagues only for them if McCarthy is under center (he completes fewer than 15 passes per game). And it’s just as bad a matchup with Brosmer under center.
Detroit Lions
Avonte Maddox (S/CB): SOLID if Kerby Joseph is inactive, SIT otherwise. He played 93% of snaps as a deep safety last week. He is incorrectly designated as a corner in Yahoo.
Rock Ya Sin (CB): SOLID. He played 97% of snaps as an outside corner last week and has had “starter-level playing time” for a couple of weeks in a row now. We can trust it, the matchup still stinks, though.
DJ Reed (CB): SOLID. He played 90% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Amik Robertson (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He only played 36% of snaps as the slot corner last week, but that tracks against a Pittsburgh team that barely plays any 11 personnel. Check the link at the top of the article to help determine if your slot corner will gain or lose snaps based on the matchup. He should play a ton more this week.
Minnesota Vikings
Byron Murphy (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps last week, most of them from outside corner, but also with a nice chunk of slot snaps.
Isaiah Rogers (CB): SOLID. He played 91% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Josh Metellus (S/CB): SIT. He went to IR a week or two ago.
All others (CB): SIT. No other corner cleared 25% of snaps for Minnesota.
Broncos at Chiefs
Outlook: The early total for this AFC West showdown sits at 39.5 points with Denver favored by 5.5 points on the road. Denver is just outside the top ten for passing yards per game, while Kansas City is a top ten team for this ranking, but reality/the rankings haven’t caught up to them having a backup quarterback under center yet. Denver is a top ten team for wide receiver targets, and so is Kansas City.
We can fire up our Kansas City corners in an ideal matchup this week, but it will be “deeper leagues only” for our Denver corners against a talented Kansas City offense that, unfortunately, has a backup for a backup quarterback calling the shots this week.
Denver Broncos
Patrick Surtain (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Riley Moss (CB): IDEAL. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week and faced another 10 targets. The “lesser of all evils” effect continues to power his production every week that opposing quarterbacks have to choose between throwing at him or Surtain. The only concern here is if the third-string quarterback for Kansas City can attempt or complete enough wide receiver targets to get Moss what he needs to produce.
Jaquan McMillian/Jahdae Barron (CB): SOLID if healthy. McMillian exited early last week, and Barron took over for him for a few plays (he was able to return). Barron would be SOLID, risky, deeper leagues only, if McMillian is inactive, SIT otherwise. This is a slot corner role/position.
Kansas City Chiefs
Trent McDuffie/Nohl Williams/Kristian Fulton (CB): McDuffie was inactive last week, but would be SOLID if he can play this week. Williams and Fulton combined to cover his absence last week; they are both SITS if he’s inactive again this week.
Jaylen Watson (CB): SOLID. He played 80% of snaps as an outside corner last week and then sat due to the blowout.
Chamarri Conner (S/CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps last week, with most of those snaps coming from the box or slot.
Texans at Chargers
Outlook: The early total for this one sits at 39.5 points with Houston favored by 1.5 points on the road. Both teams are in the middle of the pack for passing yards per game. And both teams are in the top ten for wide receiver targets each week. On paper, we have an ideal matchup across the board. In reality, it’s an ideal matchup for our Houston corners and could be one for our Los Angeles corners if the gamescript plays out in a certain way (a shootout, back-and-forth affair).
Houston Texans
Jalen Pitre (S/CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps last week, with most of those snaps coming from the slot or box.
Kamari Lassiter (CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week and smashed his projection once again.
Derek Stingley (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Los Angeles Chargers
Elijah Molden (S/CB): SIT. He was down to just 46% of snaps last week; we can’t trust that for the title game.
Tarheeb Still (CB): SOLID. He played 87% of snaps last week, most of them from outside corner but also with a nice chunk of slot snaps.
Cam Hart (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 69% of snaps, nice, as an outside corner last week.
Benjamin St Juste/Donte Jackson/All others (CB): SIT them all. St Juste got lucky last week, being able to produce while only playing 50% of snaps. Everyone else on this list played far less than that. Donte Jackson was banged up, but hasn’t played a ton even when he’s been healthy this season.
Ravens at Packers
Outlook: The early total for this battle in Green Bay sits at 46.5 points with Green Bay favored by a field goal at home. Green Bay is in the middle of the pack for passing yards per game, while Baltimore is in the bottom third of the league for this ranking. Green Bay is in the middle of the pack for wide receiver targets, while Baltimore is the second-worst team in the league for this ranking.
It will be “deeper leagues only” for our Green Bay corners in this particular setup, and we can go “medium to deeper leagues” for the Glizzy Gobbler and our Baltimore corners in Week 17. Demote our Baltimore corners to deeper leagues only if Jordan Love can’t make the start this week.
Baltimore Ravens
Marlon Humphrey (CB): IDEAL. He played 89% of snaps as an outside corner last week and smashed his projection once again. I had a custom, framed canvas made that depicts Mr. Humphrey surrounded by Glizzies while eating one. It is hung proudly in my art collection and will serve as a reminder of his fantastic end of the 2025/26 season. We thank you, Glizzy Gobbler, for the last seven weeks of fantastic production, and we wish you well on your “50 states, 50 Glizzies” tour this offseason. The matchup isn’t great at all, but we just can’t sit a man that’s this hot for this many weeks consecutively. The power of the Glizzy fuels this man, and I, for one, will continue to trust it.
Nate Wiggins (CB): SOLID. He played 94% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Chidobe Awuzie (CB): SIT. He was inactive last week, and no other corner cleared 5% of snaps played, just like we’ve seen all season (only two corner slots have value in Baltimore).
Green Bay Packers
Keisean Nixon (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Carrington Valentine (CB): SOLID, much deeper leagues only. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Javon Bullard (S/CB): SOLID if Evan Williams is inactive, SIT otherwise. With Williams inactive last week, Bullard took over his safety slot and played 100% of snaps as a deep safety. Without Williams being inactive, Bullard’s role is not worth pursuing.
Nate Hobbs (CB): SIT. He only played 59% of snaps last week, which won’t cut it with this matchup.
Seahawks at Panthers
Outlook: The early total for this one is 42.5 points with Seattle favored by a touchdown on the road. Seattle is a top ten team for passing yards per game, while Carolina is in the middle of the pack. Both teams are in the middle of the pack for wide receiver targets. We can fire up the usual suspects in medium to deeper leagues, and we should be looking good for this matchup.
Seattle Seahawks
Nick Emmanwori (S/CB): IDEAL if healthy. He played 81% of snaps from the slot or box last week. He has cleared concussion protocol, so he should be good to go for this week.
Devon Witherspoon (CB): IDEAL. He played 95% of snaps last week, about half of them from outside corner, and the rest were in the slot or box.
Coby Bryant (S/CB): SIT. He is “likely to miss some time” after exiting early with a knee injury last week. He is typically a full-time deep safety and is incorrectly designated as a corner on Yahoo.
Josh Jobe (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 70% of snaps from outside corner last week. He was picked on in coverage quite a bit last week. He could be in for a nice week of production if we see a similar game plan from Carolina in Week 17.
Tariq Woolen (CB): SIT. He was injured and exited early last week; we don’t need to chase his particular role or production in this matchup. The reinjury risk is something I don’t want to mess with for title games, either.
Carolina Panthers
Mike Jackson (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Jaycee Horn (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Chau Smith Wade (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 78% of snaps as a slot corner last week. He will likely play less than that this week against a 29th overall Seahawks team when it comes to 11-personnel usage.
Cardinals at Bengals
Outlook: The early total for this one is a massive 51.5 points with Cincy favored by 5.5 points at home. Both teams are in the top ten for passing yards per game. Cincy is the third-best team in the league for wide receiver targets, while Arizona is now firmly in the middle of the pack for this ranking.
We’ve got an ideal setup for our Arizona corners this week, and a chance for the same if we continue to get the same Jacoby Brissett we’ve been getting for the past month plus.
Arizona Cardinals
Will Johnson (CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week with a nice chunk of box snaps mixed in.
Garrett Williams (CB): SIT. He was injured last week and likely tore his Achilles. He appears to be done for the season.
Denzel Burke (CB): SOLID, risky. He took over for Williams last week and ended up playing 90% of snaps as an outside corner. We have seen him as a preferred backup option this season, but when your season is going this badly, teams sometimes play a different player to get tape on them for next season instead of going with the usual replacement option again. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen that over the years. Make sure you’re trusting solid, safe options that are guaranteed a role and solid playing time for your title games this week. We don’t want to lose because some coach decided to get game film on an inexperienced player instead of just going with their normal backup option.
Cincinnati Bengals
Dax Hill (S/CB): IDEAL. He played 67% of snaps from the slot, box, and outside corner last week and then sat due to the blowout.
DJ Turner (CB): SOLID if healthy. We exited early last week due to illness, but he has been a full-time outside corner this entire season.
All others (CB): SIT. No other corner is safe enough to recommend.
Steelers at Browns
Outlook: The early total for this defensive struggle sits at just 35.5 points with Pittsburgh favored by a field goal at home. Both teams are in the bottom third of the league for passing yards per game. Pittsburgh has the worst ranking across the league for wide receiver targets, while Cleveland is 4th-worst for this ranking. It will be “deeper leagues only” across the board for this one, and beyond Jalen Ramsey, I probably won’t have any options from this matchup going myself.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Jalen Ramsey (S/CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps last week as a (mostly) deep safety with a good chunk of box and slot snaps as well.
Joey Porter Jr (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
James Pierre/Asante Samuel Jr (CB): Pierre was inactive last week but is typically the starter for this slot. Samuel Jr replaced him and played 97% of snaps as an outside corner. I would SIT Pierre (reinjury risk) and would not chase Samuel Jr unless you’re truly desperate (SIT). The matchup just isn’t good enough to screw around with backup corners.
Brandin Echols (CB): SIT. He was injured early last week and is looking doubtful to play this week (plus the matchup stinks).
Cleveland Browns
Denzel Ward/Sam Webb (CB): SIT them both. Ward has been inactive for a couple of weeks now. The reinjury risk plus the bad matchup means we shouldn’t chase him or his backup for the title game.
Myles Harden (CB): SIT. He played just 32% of snaps from the slot last week, and won’t see an increase in playing time against the second-worst team in the league for 11 personnel usage.
Tyson Campbell (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps last week, with half of them from outside corner and the rest from the box or slot.
Jaguars at Colts
Outlook: The early total for this pivotal AFC South showdown sits at 44.5 points with Jacksonville favored by 5.5 points on the road. Indy is just outside the top ten for passing yards per game. Jacksonville is in the middle of the pack for this ranking. Jacksonville is a top ten team for wide receiver targets, while Indy is in the middle of the pack for this ranking.
We can fire up our Indianapolis corners in an ideal matchup this week, but it will be “medium to deeper leagues” against Rivers, who looked better last week, but still isn’t even close to an ideal matchup.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Montaric Brown (CB): SOLID. He played 80% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Jarrian Jones (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 71% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Jourdan Lewis (CB): SOLID. He played 68% of snaps as the slot corner last week.
Greg Newsome (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only, if healthy. He played 57% of snaps as an outside corner last week and suffered a shoulder injury that took him out early.
Indianapolis Colts
Kenny Moore (CB): SOLID. He played 53% of snaps from the slot last week, but should play a bit more against this Jacksonville team that is 10th overall for 11 personnel usage.
Mekhi Blackmon (CB): SOLID. He played 69% of snaps, nice, as an outside corner last week and then sat due to the blowout. With Chavarious Ward on IR, this role should be safe for Blackmon for at least one more week.
Sauce Gardner/Jonathan Edwards/Cameron Mitchell (CB): SOLID if healthy for Sauce. He is a full-time outside corner when active. Edwards and Mitchell appeared to combine to help cover the absence of Sauce and Ward last week, with neither having enough playing time or “certainty of role” to strike our fancy. If it’s not Sauce, we SIT them.
Bucs at Dolphins
Outlook: The early total for this one sits at 47.5 points with Tampa Bay favored by a field goal on the road. Tampa Bay is in the middle of the pack for passing yards per game, while Miami is in the bottom third of the league for this ranking. Tampa Bay is the 4th-best team for wide receiver targets, while Miami is the 5th-worst for this ranking.
We can fire up our Miami corners in an ideal matchup this week, but it will be “deeper leagues only” for our Tampa Bay options against a backup quarterback and a team that doesn’t pass all that much to begin with.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tykee Smith (S/CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps last week, and his utilization was just as good as earlier this season. Most of his snaps were from the box, slot, or defensive line as a blitzing attempt.
Jamel Dean (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Benjamin Morrison (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week and appears to be the Zyon McCollum replacement.
Jacob Parrish (CB): SOLID. He played 70% of snaps from the slot last week.
Miami Dolphins
Jack Jones (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps from the outside corner last week.
Rasul Douglas (CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week and has been excellent all season long.
Jason Marshall (CB): SIT. He did play 50% of snaps from the slot last week, but I’ve typed that name maybe one other time this season. We don’t trust something that iffy for all the marbles.
Patriots at Jets
Outlook: The early total for this AFC East showdown sits at 44.5 points with New England favored by 9.5 points on the road. New England is a top ten team for passing yards per game, while New York is the 4th-worst team for this ranking. Both teams are in the bottom third of the league for wide receiver targets each week.
We can fire up our New York corners in medium to deeper leagues, but it will be “deeper leagues only” for our New England corners in Week 17.
New England Patriots
Christian Gonzalez (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Carlton Davis (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Marcus Jones (CB): SOLID. He only played 34% of snaps against a Baltimore team that barely plays any 11 personnel last week, which tracks. New York is the 2nd best team for this ranking, so his playing time should return to normal in Week 17.
New York Jets
Brandon Stephens (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Qwan’Tez Stiggers (CB): SOLID, risky. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week, but has now been the starter for this slot in two consecutive games.
All others (CB): SIT. There were no other “safe” options.
Saints at Titans
Outlook: The early total for this one sits at 39.5 points with New Orleans favored by 1.5 points on the road. Both teams are in the bottom third of the league for passing yards per game. New Orleans is a top ten team for wide receiver targets, while New York is in the middle of the pack.
We can fire up our Tennessee options in medium to deeper leagues, but it will be “deeper leagues only” for our New Orleans corners against this run-first Tennessee offense.
New Orleans Saints
Alontae Taylor (CB): IDEAL. He played 100% of snaps last week from the slot, box, and via blitzing attempts, with only a handful at outside corner.
Koolaid McKinstry (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Quincy Riley (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 80% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Tennessee Titans
Marcus Harris (CB): SOLID if healthy. He was replaced by Jaylyn Armor Davis last week after suffering a knee injury.
Jaylyn Armor Davis (CB): SIT. He replaced Harris last week, but we’ve only seen that once in recent history, so we won’t be trusting it for all the marbles. This would only be an option if Harris is inactive, also.
Darrell Baker Jr (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
All others (CB): SIT. We had some randoms in garbage time against Kansas City; we won’t even mention them.
Giants at Raiders
Outlook: The early total for this battle at the Death Star sits at 43.5 points with New York favored by a field goal on the road. Las Vegas is dead last in yards per game for its passing offense, while New York is in the middle of the pack. Las Vegas is also the 3rd-worst team for wide receiver targets, while New York is in the middle of the pack once more.
We can fire up our New York corners in deeper leagues only, and we can go “medium to deeper leagues” for our Las Vegas corners in this setup.
New York Giants
Paulson Adebo (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps last week as an outside corner.
Cor’Dale Flott (CB): SIT. He was injured early last week and is iffy to play this week. The matchup stinks, also.
Andru Phillips (CB): SOLID, much deeper leagues only. He played just 45% of snaps last week, but should have a decent role against this Raiders team that is 21st for 11 personnel usage.
Deonte Banks (CB): SIT, but he took over for Flott if you need a warm body, and Flott is inactive again this week.
Las Vegas Raiders
Eric Stokes (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Darien Porter (CB): SOLID. He played 96% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Eagles at Bills
Outlook: The early total for this possible Super Bowl preview sits at 46.5 points with Buffalo favored by a field goal at home. Buffalo is the third-best passing attack (YPG), while Philly is in the middle of the pack for this ranking. Both teams are in the middle of the pack for wide receiver targets each week. We can fire up all the usual suspects in medium to deeper leagues, and we should be looking good for this one.
Philadelphia Eagles
Quinyon Mitchell (CB): SOLID. He played 90% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Cooper DeJean (CB): IDEAL. He played 88% of snaps from the slot, box, and only a handful at outside corner, last week. His production and utilization remain elite.
Adoree Jackson (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 72% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Buffalo Bills
Taron Johnson (CB): SOLID. He played 65% of snaps from the slot last week.
Tre’Davious White (CB): SOLID. He played 70% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Christian Benford (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Maxwell Hairston (CB): SIT. He only played 26% of snaps last week and doesn’t see acceptable playing time unless another starter is injured/inactive.
Bears at 49ers
Outlook: The early total for this battle for playoff positioning sits at a massive 50.5 points with San Francisco favored by a field goal at home. Both teams are in the top ten for passing yards per game. Chicago is just outside the top ten for wide receiver targets, while San Francisco is in the bottom third of the league for this ranking.
We can fire up all the usual suspects in medium to deeper leagues for this one. Chicago hasn’t been passing or passing to their wide receivers nearly as often as they were at the start of the season, so we’ll back off on them a bit.
Chicago Bears
Chauncey Gardner Johnson (S/CB): IDEAL if healthy. He exited after 77% of snaps last week, but has been a full-time hybrid corner/safety with spectacular utilization and production since he got to Chicago.
Nahshon Wright (CB): SOLID. He played 100% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Jaylon Johnson/Tyrique Stevenson (CB): SIT them both. They flip-flopped playing time for the last two weeks, with Johnson playing 62% last week while Tyrique only saw 37%. It was almost exactly that, but reversed the week prior. We can’t trust this slot as it stands currently (in flux).
San Francisco 49ers
Deommodore Lenoir (CB): SOLID. He played 98% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Renardo Green/Darrell Luter Jr (CB): Renardo was inactive last week, but would be SOLID as a full-time outside corner if he can play this week. Luter replaced him last week and played 100% of snaps as an outside corner. We have seen that before, so if Green is inactive again, then Luter would be a SOLID option, SIT otherwise.
Upton Stout (CB): SOLID. He played 80% of snaps as a slot corner last week.
Rams at Falcons
Outlook: The early total for this one sits at 48.5 points with Los Angeles favored by 8.5 points on the road. Los Angeles has the second-best passing attack (YPG), while Atlanta is in the middle of the pack. Los Angeles is also a top-five team for wide receiver targets, while Atlanta is in the middle of the pack once more.
We’ve got an ideal setup for our Atlanta corners to round out Week 17, but it will be “medium to deeper leagues” for our Los Angeles corners in this setup.
Los Angeles Rams
Cobie Durant (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 80% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Emmanuel Forbes (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 75% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
All others (CB): SIT. No other corner cleared 50% of snaps for Los Angeles last week.
Atlanta Falcons
AJ Terrell (CB): SOLID. He played 93% of snaps as an outside corner last week.
Dee Alford (CB): SOLID, deeper leagues only. He played 43% of snaps from the slot last week, but should play more against this 13th overall Los Angeles team for 11 personnel usage.
Mike Hughes (CB): SOLID if healthy. He was inactive with an ankle injury last week, but is typically a full-time outside corner.
All others (CB): SIT. With Mike Hughes inactive last week, we got a bunch of random replacements, none of them worth discussing.
Byes this week: None
