One of the first things you’ll notice about this section of The IDP Show Draft Kit is that we didn’t use the term “busts” to describe these players. It was too harsh to imply that these talented IDPs would completely crap your team. We used the term “fades” because it reflects the strategy we’re employing with these players: we’re fading them until later in the draft. There’s only one problem: they aren’t there where we’d feel comfortable taking them, so we don’t end up with many shares of these IDPs.
Taking a swing on a player early in any draft is about maximizing your chances of ROI for that costly pick. The players listed below could absolutely offer a high ROI but it feels riskier than with other similarly-drafted players for reasons that we’ll outline.
They’re not BAD picks, but we’d try to draft them later (if you can).
