2025 IDP Waiver Wire: Week 16
Who are the IDPs you should target on the waiver wire in your league?
Let’s keep this playoff train rolling and find some players that may help you out.
We all play in leagues of varying depth—with different IDPs on the waiver wire—so I’m going to identify IDP waiver targets at each position for shallow, average, and deep leagues. I’m using data from PFF and NFL Pro. Rostership percentage (in parentheses) is from Sleeper dynasty leagues. Any reference to fantasy points per game is based on Big 3 Scoring.
Linebacker
Shallow: Devin White, LB, Las Vegas Raiders (65%)
Devin White has been outstanding this season and should not be available in as many leagues as he is. He is averaging 19.6 points per game and has piled up 149 tackles, along with a sack, a forced fumble, and an interception. Any lingering stink from past seasons should be gone after the heater White has been on this year.
White now draws Houston, which allows an average of 18.7 tackles per game to opposing linebackers. It is the top matchup for linebackers in the league, and White should be a monster this week. If he is somehow on waivers, add him immediately and do not think twice about starting him.
Average: James Williams, LB, Tennessee (4%)
Cedric Gray left Week 15 late with a concussion, and players often miss at least one additional game when entering concussion protocol. James Williams replaced Gray and finished with 4 tackles. If Gray is ruled out, Williams should step into a near full-time role, which immediately puts him on the radar in average and deep leagues.
The added wrinkle here is Williams’ DB eligibility on Sleeper, which makes him especially valuable as a flexible roster piece and a great start at DB. He may not have elite upside, but full-time snaps at linebacker are hard to find this late in the season, and Williams is worth adding if Gray is unable to go.
