2025 IDP Waiver Wire: Week 11
Who are the IDPs you should target on the waiver wire in your league?
We’re into the business end of the fantasy season, and this is where depth, snap share, and smart roster management separate playoff teams from everyone else. Injuries, role changes, and late-season surges continue to reshape the defensive landscape. This week, I have included a healthy mix of immediate contributors, speculative stashes, and playoff-minded pickups you can get ahead on.
We all play in leagues of varying depth—with different IDPs on the waiver wire—so I’m going to identify IDP waiver targets at each position for shallow, average, and deep leagues. I’m using data from PFF and NFL Pro. Rostership percentage (in parentheses) is from Sleeper dynasty leagues. Any reference to fantasy points per game is based on Big 3 Scoring.
Let’s dive into this week’s targets.
Defensive Line
Shallow: Bradley Chubb, EDGE, Miami Dolphins (40%)
Bradley Chubb has played over 70% of snaps in each of the past two weeks and now sits at 5 sacks on the season after adding one more against Buffalo in Week 10. Chubb’s recent surge in pressures (16 over his last two games) is encouraging for potential future production.
The Dolphins face Washington in Week 11, a team that’s allowed 26 sacks through 10 games, putting Chubb in a prime position to keep producing. He’s trending in the right direction and deserves to be rostered across most formats heading into the playoff stretch.
Average: Nolan Smith, EDGE, Philadelphia Eagles (37%)
Nolan Smith returned from a triceps injury that cost him six weeks and wasted no time making an impact, notching 2 tackles and a sack in his first game back. The Eagles’ pass rush has underwhelmed this season, but Smith’s return and the recent addition of Jaelan Phillips should help turn that around. Smith was limited to 19 snaps in his first game back, but expect that to rise over the next few weeks as the team ramps him up.
The Eagles play the Lions Week 11, whose offensive line has struggled lately, making Smith a worthwhile pickup in both average and deep leagues. If he’s on waivers, grab him before his snap count jumps.
