2025 IDP Waiver Wire: Week 10
Who are the IDPs you should target on the waiver wire in your league?
With only a few weeks left before the fantasy playoffs, the waiver wire becomes less about chasing upside and more about locking down production and opportunity. Week 10 features a mix of steady veterans, emerging fill-ins, and some intriguing rookies stepping into full-time roles. Let’s break down the top linebacker, defensive line, and defensive back adds heading into the weekend.
We all play in leagues of varying depth—with different IDPs on the waiver wire—so I’m going to identify IDP waiver targets at each position for shallow, average, and deep leagues. I’m using data from PFF and NFL Pro. Rostership percentage (in parentheses) is from Sleeper dynasty leagues.
Let’s dive into this week’s targets.
Linebacker
Shallow: Payton Wilson, LB, Pittsburgh Steelers (50%)
Payton Wilson continues to take advantage of every chance he’s given. With Cole Holcomb sidelined in Week 9, Wilson logged 85% of snaps and erupted for 12 tackles and an interception. Across the four games where he’s topped 80% of snaps, Wilson is averaging nearly 10 tackles per contest. With that usage, he has shown consistent fantasy production.
As long as Holcomb remains out, Wilson is locked in as Pittsburgh’s clear No. 2 linebacker behind Elandon Roberts and should be in starting lineups across most formats. Even in shallow leagues, he offers the type of tackle volume that’s impossible to ignore.
Average: Tyrice Knight, LB, Seattle Seahawks (38%)
Tyrice Knight stepped up big when Ernest Jones exited early against Washington, producing 10 tackles on just 37 snaps. I don’t know if getting benched for Drake Thomas lit a fire under Knight, but he sure was hot in this game.
However, his fantasy value depends heavily on Jones’ health. As long as Jones is out, Knight is startable. When Jones returns, Knight goes back to a limited, rotational role and is unusable. For now, consider him a strong one to two-week fill-in, depending on Jones’ status.
