2024 IDP Waiver Wire: Week 15
Mike Woellert identifies the IDP targets on this week's waiver wire.
We’re headed into Week 15, and hopefully for many of you, the fantasy playoffs. No time to get cute and overthink your lineups, but if you suffered a bad beat in Week 14, whether an injury or suspension, I’m here to help.
So, as you set your claims for Week 15, here are your targets for this week’s IDP waiver wire.
Linebacker
Luke Gifford, Tennessee Titans
We don’t know the extent of Kenneth Murray and Jerome Baker’s injuries, but Luke Gifford looks to be the guy here, so we’re going to the moon quicker than a Tuah coin!
Gifford wore the dot for the inactive Murray and appeared in 100% of the snaps in Week 14. He seemed to have control of the defense and communicated signals to get players in position. He was active post-snap and had 4 tackles go for fewer than 2 yards.
PFF didn’t grade him favorably (41.2), but he didn't miss a tackle attempt and he recorded an 82.1 tackle grade from PFF.
On this tackle, he processes quickly and gets to the gap to get the tackle on Bigsby for a TFL:
He also had a solid tackle on Evan Engram that prevented a 1st down on 3rd and 8.
Gifford produced 0.36 fantasy points per snap and an 18.6% tackle rate. He took advantage of the opportunity, and if Murray is out for any more games, Gifford is the LB to target from the wire. Otis Reese is 2nd on the priority if Jerome Baker misses more games.
